I have a baking gambling problem!

No, for real, I am enjoying “gambling” with ChatGPT to create recipes with what I have. It’s a gamble, but what can I say? I like to live dangerously!
Then, of course, I remove, decrease, or substitute, some of the fatty stuff, like butter, sugar, and all those yummy things the devil put on this earth to make us fat! This time I wanted oat cookies..and boom. Ok, they aren’t the prettiest, some are a lil wonky, but OMFG let me tell you…they are amazingfulll!!!
I put probably half the butter than asked, and they were still awesome. As I work with AI, and know better than trusting it blindly, I always make the first try in super small batches…it’s always a gamble, so let’s go easy at first! I think this made 10 cookies or something, but I am so gonna make these again! maybe even today!
Some have chocolate chips (for the kids, cause ewwwww), and some have Raisings or candied pineapple. The pineapple is surprisingly my favourite. SO SO SOOOO GOOD!
I was asked to share some of these recipes…so here is my ChatGPT Oat Cookies, it’s super easy, even for me!

Ingredients: – 1 cup rolled oats – 1/2 cup flour – 1/2 cup brown sugar – 1/4 cup melted butter or coconut oil – 1 egg – 1/2 teaspoon baking soda – 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract – Optional: chocolate chips, nuts, dried fruits Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, and baking soda. 3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter (or coconut oil), egg, and vanilla extract. 4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until well combined. 5. If desired, fold in chocolate chips, nuts, or dried fruits. 6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each cookie. 7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. 8. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
9. Enjoy your delicious homemade oat cookies!

Update: look at me with the update! lol Things are getting serious here!! Anyway, I did make them again…and this time I substituted the butter with apple sauce. O….M….F….G…so good! and less fattening!
The only thing is that I have to store them away pretty quickly after they cooled down as Pollo, my cat, jumped on the counter and ate some of my carrot tarts once…I learned my lesson! I put them in a tupperware and they turned a lil floppy. Was it the Tupperware, or was it the apple sauce? I know some people like chewy cookies, but I am not one of them. Eww! So I will have to find another way to store them. I am sure my noob ass just doesn’t know there are better ways. Anyway, this time I added some BlueBerries and somenuts ones. I tell you…the awesomest!
